About La Lou Lawn & Landscape

Our owner, Morgan, has been a fulltime fireman since 2015. A fireman's schedule allows for opportunities to work on their days off which inspired Morgan to grow his own business. He has always loved to cut grass and found himself good at it. Growing up in Ascension Parish, Morgan assisted his father in the yard with miscellaneous tasks and loved doing so. In 2016, he started his first lawncare business and successfully maintained over 100 accounts in a week as well as regular landscape projects in all different sizes. Morgan always strived to put 100% in everything he did. Through his determination and limited knowledge of the green industry, he set on a journey to learn more. Morgan learned the ups and downs and ins and outs of the lawncare business. He was able to do this through friends in the business, reading and listening to books, and different podcast. In 2019, Morgan met the love of his life, Skyla Stansbury. After Morgan and Skyla moved to the Acadiana area in 2021, the first lawn care business dissolved, but when one door closes another one opens. In 2022, they got married and found out they were having a baby girl, Elouise. In 2023, he started La Lou Lawn & Landscape. "La Lou" is Morgan's nickname for Elouise who inspires him every day to be better. In 2024, they welcomed their second baby girl, Evelyn, who continues to keep him on his toes. Morgan strives everyday to improve his business and family life in any way he can.
